Full website builds#
Every build is quoted up front. The price depends on how complex the site is, and you see the number before you commit to anything.
We keep communication open and meetings rare. Most projects run on written updates rather than calls. That is faster for you, and it leaves a record both of us can refer back to.
We build inside our own server environment. A full build therefore includes either a maintenance or a hosting package, described below. That is how your site is hosted, updated and backed up once it is live.
Builds are paid in two halves: half before work starts, and half on completion.
If you would rather take the finished files and run the site yourself, we will hand them over at the end of the project and you are free to host them anywhere.
What we do not do is work inside your hosting account. We do not ask for those logins and we will not use them. This one is not negotiable. Looking after a site we can only partly see is how a small problem turns into a long outage, and we would rather say no at the start than explain that later.
Maintenance and hosting#
This package is for a site that needs a few hours of attention each month: copy changes, creative updates, security checks, and general upkeep. Hosting and security are included, along with everything in the basic package below.
You get up to four hours of work each month, tracked by our team. That can be a complete page design, blog updates, installing plugins, implementing custom code, or other theme changes.
Hours do not roll over. Four hours is what is available in any given month, and a quiet month does not add to the next one.
Work beyond four hours in a month is billed separately by invoice. Those invoices are payable on completion of the work.
Basic hosting and security#
This covers your website’s existence. We provide the server environment, run backups, and handle basic security. More than one backup method runs at all times, so a single failure cannot take your site with it.
Moving an existing site#
Moving a site you already have onto our servers is a flat $400. That covers the transfer itself, pointing your domain and DNS, reissuing SSL, keeping your existing redirects, and checking the site page by page before it goes live.
The fee is waived if you take the Maintenance plan. It covers sites up to 20 pages; anything larger is quoted separately, because past that it stops being a migration and becomes a rebuild.
Domain names#
If you already own your domain, we expect you to be able to point it at our server. We will send you instructions saying exactly what to change and where.
If you do not own one, we will buy it for you. If you are not sure what to pick, we will pick for you; we do this often and we know what works.
We pass the registration cost straight through with no markup. It is roughly $13 for the first year and roughly $22 a year after that. Registrar pricing changes, so treat those as current figures rather than fixed ones.
Your data#
We do not share your data with anyone.
Our team can see your site metrics, and depending on the access you give us, your advertising metrics too. That visibility is what allows us to do the work.
We do not retarget your visitors for anything else, and we do not use your traffic to promote another business. Your traffic and your leads are yours. We can see them. We do not take them.

Uptime and what we are responsible for#
We host on managed infrastructure and we monitor it. No server is available every second of the year, so occasional brief outages happen. We are not liable for those, or for business lost while one is going on.
What we will do is notice and fix them, and keep more than one backup running so that a failure costs you time rather than your website.
Cancelling#
Cancelling starts a handover rather than a shutdown.
You receive a domain transfer key where one is needed, and a single file containing a complete backup of your WordPress site. Hand that to any developer and the site can be set up anywhere. Nothing is locked to us.
We keep your backups for up to 60 days after service ends, then delete them. If you need anything recovered, ask within that window.
Refunds#
Completed work is not refundable. Neither are hosting and maintenance, including a month already under way.
You can cancel whenever you like, and the handover above still applies. What you have paid covers the period it was paid for.
Changes to these terms#
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. Work already quoted or under way runs on the terms that applied when it was agreed.
